<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for storing an ink-jet recording ink curable by actinic energy ray and free from the influence of the variation of temperature and humidity of the ink-storing environment on the photo-polymerizability, curability, storage stability, ejection stability from a nozzle, adhesiveness to the recording medium, solvent resistance and water resistance and provide an ink-jet recording apparatus with an ink curable by actinic energy rays. <P>SOLUTION: The actinic energy curable ink for ink-jet recording containing a compound having oxetane ring is stored under a condition satisfying the formula WP×WR/SR>6.65 wherein WR is the water content (%) of the actinic energy ray curable ink for ink-jet recording, SR is the ratio (free volume fraction) of the volume of the space calculated by subtracting the volume of the actinic energy ray curable ink for ink-jet recording from the inner volume of the storage vessel to the inner volume of the storage vessel, and WP is the water vapor pressure (Pa) in the space. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
