An improved design door hinge for confined spaces, e.g. for improved access to vehicles, has a hinge arm (3) fitted between the fixed frame hinge point (5) and a hinge point (4) partway along the door. As the door is opened the hinge arm enables it to move parallel to the door frame as well as tilting a limited amount into an open position. The opened access is greater than for conventional doors.
