<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate consumption time of a battery from a signal processing amount of data and to down-load data in a state adjusted to a present battery residue. <P>SOLUTION: An EV-DO operation managing part 11 estimates battery remaining time for maintaining data communication based on the battery remaining amount and battery current consumed at the time of down-loading data when an EV-DO terminal 1 performs data communication. The EV-DO operation managing part 11 detects a data size showing a size of transmitted data and a data rate showing a data information amount, and estimates data acquiring time (estimated EV-DO time). Battery residual time is compared with data acquiring time. When battery residual time is longer than the data acquiring time, data communication of the EV-DO terminal 1 is continued. When battery residual time is shorter than the data acquiring time, data communication of the EV-DO terminal 1 is stopped but supply of operation power of the EV-DO terminal 1 from a battery is continued. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
