<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology that the secrecy of data is enhanced when image information of an original read by an optional image forming apparatus among a plurality of image forming apparatuses is transferred to the other image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: In an image forming apparatus network system wherein the plurality of image forming apparatuses each having an image storage means for storing read image are connected via a network, at least one image forming apparatus is provided with an encrypted data transfer selection means whereby an operator can select whether or not data are encrypted and to be transferred to the other image forming apparatus when the one image forming apparatus uses a link operating means to transfer the image information read from the original to the other image forming apparatus and the other image forming apparatus prints out the image or stores the image to the storage means and the image data of the original are obtained after the end of reading of the original. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
