<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illuminant which is optically etched with size selected after coupling to a solid medium, and also to provide a biomolecule marker and an optic recording medium consisting of the nano-sized illuminant. <P>SOLUTION: A core shell structure 1 has a core 2 made of nano particles, a shell 4 covering the core 2, and a void 3 formed of the core 2 and the shell 4. The core 2 couples with the solid medium via the shell 4 and does not directly couple with the medium. Therefore, as the core shell structure 1 couples to the solid medium, illumination properties of the core 2 are not affected. In addition, since the shell 4 is extremely thin and porous, an optical dissolving solution enters the space between the core and the shell, enabling optical etching with size selected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
