<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adequately take actions corresponding to variation of a consumption amount of a consumable in a predetermined time period and to grasp usability thereof beforehand. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming apparatus comprises an input section for inputting image forming data, a consumption amount storing means for storing the consumption amount of the consumable used for forming an image in a predetermined time period, a setting means for setting a usable amount of the consumable in a predetermined time period, and a usable amount determining means for determining the usable amount of the consumable in the predetermined time period.
