PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fiber laser device which is capable of reflecting or transmitting light corresponding to a plurality of wavelengths. SOLUTION: The fiber laser device is composed of an optical fiber 13 and fiber mirrors 12 and 14 equipped with mirrors having properties of selecting some of light having specific wavelengths out of light propagating through the optical fiber 13 with a core loaded with a rare earth element and returning it to the optical fiber 13 again. Dielectric films 121b, 121c and 141b, 141c are deposited at ends of the fiber mirrors 12 and 14 to enable the fiber mirrors 12 and 14 to have the unified optical properties, and the fiber mirrors 12 and 14 are arranged at least at either of the ends of the optical fiber 13. By this setup, an optical loss caused by the reflection or transmission of light by the dielectric layers set corresponding to light having a plurality of wavelengths can be reduced.
