PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head unit and an image forming device in which trapping of air bubbles is prevented and stable printing quality can be obtained. SOLUTION: A pipe-shaped ink supplement part 104 of a recording head 14 and a pipe-shaped ink feed part 124 of a sub-tank 15 are formed into a same shape, and a sealing member 131 is sandwiched between the ink supplement part 104 and the ink feed part 124. A frame member 101 of the recording head 14 and the case main body 121 of the sub-tank 15 are fastened by a fastening member 132. Thus, an ink feed passage 134 with a wall face formed by the ink feed part 124, the sealing part 131 and the ink supplement part 104 is formed for feeding the ink 135 from the sub-tank 15 to a common liquid chamber 102 of the recording head 14.
