A connection structure of a suction hole of a suction muffler for a compressor is provided to reduce leakage of refrigerant gas introduced into the suction muffler and prevent thermal conduction from an inside of a sealed container to the refrigerant. A connection structure of a suction hole of a suction muffler for a compressor includes a spring pipe(6) of which a front end is fitted into a suction pipe(50), wherein a surface of the spring pipe is coated by a coating substance for blocking gaps of the spring pipe. A suction muffler is formed with a suction hole(4) at a lower end, and the suction hole is fitted with an upper end of the suction pipe having a suction hole(50d). The suction hole of the suction pipe is fitted with the front end of the coated spring pipe. A refrigerant pipe(7) is connected to a lower end(6c) of the spring pipe. A lower end(50c) of the suction pipe is extended to the lower end of the spring pipe.
