A split type run-flat device of a height adjustable tire is provided to apply into various sorts and sizes of tire and rim by separately forming at least two run-flats in order to change distances between the run-flats and thereby controlling height of each sectional run-flat according to a size of the tire. A run-flat device is installed in a tire on an outer peripheral surface of a rim and composed of a plurality of split run-flats(4) and clamps interconnecting the split run-flats. A split type run-flat device for controlling height of the run-flat comprises the plural run-flats having each one separated into an upper run-flat(41) and a lower run-flat(42); a distance adjusting unit for changing the distance between the separated run-flats; and the clamps combining the separated run-flats. The distance adjusting unit comprises a fixing member installed at one run-flat of the upper and the lower run-flats; a moving member(12) installed at the other run-flat and movably combined with the fixing member; and a fixing plate settling the moving member rotatively on the other run-flat.
