PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hollow cylindrical member having magnetic areas and a non-magnetic area axially adjacent to each other in a solenoid valve so as to restrain increases in the number of parts without need for special processing. SOLUTION: In the solenoid valve equipped with the hollow cylindrical member having solenoid valve including the magnetic areas A, C and the non-magnetic area B axially adjacent to each other, the cylindrical member 4 is integrally formed out of a magnetic member, and part of the cylindrical member 4 is made into the non-magnetic area B by forming an annular penetration bead 37 at the part by means of laser irradiation.
