<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-base ink for inkjet recording which improves the color disappearance or the discoloration of a recorded image when a bleaching agent and a bactericide/disinfectant are attached to the recorded image and does not cause deposition even after evaporating volatile components in the ink. <P>SOLUTION: The water-base ink for inkjet recording comprises at least water, a humectant, an azo bonding-free acid dye, and a ≤13C lower alkyl ether, and the acid dye has a logarithmic value (logP<SB>acid dye</SB>) of the distribution coefficient of octanol to water of -2.0 to 2.0 and the lower alkyl ether has a logarithmic value (logP<SB>lower alkyl ether</SB>) of the distribution coefficient of octanol to water of 0.7 to 2.0. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
