PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a broadcast receiving device to automatically determine which operation key can operate a remote control device, and to display the operation key in an understandable way in the remote control device. SOLUTION: A broadcast receiving device 3 decodes a reception signal received by a channel selecting/decoding portion 31 through a broadcasting wave into a TS or a baseband signal. Operation available information which determines an operation key operable at a remote control device 2 is generated from the TS or the baseband signal by a reception signal interpreting portion 32.
