METAL O-RING AND ITS SEAL CONSTRUCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suitable metal O-ring to seal tightly the high pressure gas while it prevents that the metal O-ring falls out from the seal groove of a flange when assembling or maintaining an equipment. SOLUTION: A penetration hole 13 is provided on an inner diameter side or an outer diameter side of the metal O-ring 1 where becomes high pressure and a wire 2 of other member than a seal body 10 is inserted and locked. This wire 2 touches to an inner diameter wall 33 of the flange 3 snappingly when assembling the metal O-ring 1 and it intends to prevent the drop out of the metal O-ring 1 by the friction power.
