<p>A mobile communication system includes a mobile device, a base station, and a base station control device. When a downstream transmission in the handover state is performed, user data from a base station control device is transmitted from a first base station to a mobile device, and an error correction code for the user data from the base station control device is transmitted from a second base station to the mobile device. By using the received error correction code, the mobile device subjects the received user data to an error correction so as to decode the user data. In the upstream transmission in the handover state also, the user data and the error correction code are transmitted from the mobile device to the base station control device via different transmission paths.</p> |
