<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To arbitrarily set print conditions suitable for print satisfaction different for each user, and to acquire the optimal print result evaluated from many sides for each user by calculating evaluation indices at the time of selecting each printing device on a network based on the print conditions. <P>SOLUTION: A sheet type discrimination processing part 43 discriminates the type of a recording medium by acquiring characteristic information for discriminating the type of a loaded recording medium from each printing device, and an output printer decision processing part 45 decides any printing device as an output candidate from a plurality of printing devices based on the evaluation indices calculated from printing device information including the type of the recording medium acquired from the printing device and printing device selection conditions to be inputted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
