<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flow control valve of a liquid pump, discharging contaminant to avoid inoperative state of a valve body even if a contaminant or the like bites into between a valve hole and a valve body. <P>SOLUTION: In the flow control valve applied to the liquid pump, the flow control valve is accommodated so that the valve body can be moved in the axial direction in the valve hole formed in a pump housing of the liquid pump, and the liquid pressure is applied to at least one end side of the valve body, thereby moving the valve body in the axial direction. Thus the flow rate of liquid is variably controlled by varying the sectional area of the liquid passage formed in the valve hole by the axial movement, and the valve body is provided with a spiral groove formed on the outer peripheral part of the valve body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
