LIVING BODY INDWELLING STENT

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a living body indwelling stent holding a medicine in an amount capable of reducing a repeating stenosis (restenosis) ratio occurring in a conventional living body indwelling stent.

SOLUTION: A layer containing a polymer with an equilibrium water content of 100% or above and an ultimate elongation of above 200% is provided on the surface of the stent formed into an almost tubular shape and outward extensible in the radial direction of the almost tubular shape and a large amount of a medicine is held in the layer.
