PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lighten burden for such operation that desired data is selected out of many data and reproduced. SOLUTION: A digital video camera 1 is provided with a first reproducing button 5a to a fifth reproducing button 5e corresponding to each group for data recording, and record many data in a recording medium in a state in which they are classified for each group. A name of a group corresponding to respective reproducing buttons 5a-5e is displayed at a transverse position of respective reproducing buttons 5a-5e in a liquid crystal screen 4. When recorded data is reproduced, data classified as the group are reproduced successively by pressing any of respective reproducing buttons 5a-5e corresponding to the group to which the data belongs.
