PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic capacity type liquid level gage with a high-safety structure capable of surely preventing its detecting probe (sensing body) from falling off, even in the case it is attached to a high-pressure gas bottle when used. SOLUTION: The structure of a through-hole formed in a base is made up of a large diameter section which has an enlarged diameter at the lower end side where an outer casing electrode is mounted through a step section, and a small diameter section which is arranged through the step section and into which the upper end section of a center plug is inserted from the large diameter section side. The structure of the center plug, is made up of a support section which is inserted into the small diameter section of the through-hole, and an expanded diameter section which is concatenated with the support section and arranged opposite to the step section from the large diameter section side of the through hole. A force applied on the center plug is surely received by the step section through the expanded diameter section, thereby preventing the detecting probe from falling off. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
