PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overhead console which is easily assembled, and hardly causes vibration. SOLUTION: An upper structure 4 having an upper fitting seat 7 facing a roof reinforcement 3, a lower structure 5 having an article reception unit 10, and a thin-walled part 6 to flexibly join a leading edge part of the lower structure 5 with a front edge part of the upper structure 4 are formed of synthetic resin. A lower fitting seat 9 to overlap the upper fitting seat 7 when the lower structure 5 is folded with respect to the upper structure 4 is provided on the lower structure 5. The lower fitting seat 9 and the upper fitting seat 7 are fixed to the roof reinforcement 3 by a fastening means 11 to obtain high rigidity. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
