PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress generation of white smoke and disagreeable odor and degradation of emission attributable to liquid fuel oozing into a combustion chamber by preventing liquid fuel from being oozed into the combustion chamber without passing through a wick in a combustion type heater to feed liquid fuel to the wick and burn it. SOLUTION: In the combustion type heater, a second wick supporting member 13 having a cylindrical part 13a with one end side opened and a bottom part 13b on the other end side of the cylindrical part 13a is provided on the inner side of a first wick supporting member 12 having a cylindrical part 12a with one end side open and a bottom part 12b on the other end side of the cylindrical part 12a so that the cylindrical parts 12a and 13a overlap each other, and a wick 13 is held by the bottom parts 12b and 13b of the wick supporting members 12 and 13. The entire circumference of opening end parts of the cylindrical parts 12a and 13a of the wick supporting members 12 and 13 is joined in an airtight manner. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
