PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tube for a tire for reducing a secular change during storage and improving durability during the long period storage. SOLUTION: A body layer 12 formed into a doughnut-shape having hollow cross section forms a primary part of the tube 10 for the tire. A valve 16 which is capable of injecting gas into the body layer 12 is provided in an inner peripheral side part of the tube 10 for the tire. In a part of the body layer 12 facing to the valve 16 on the hollow cross section, a reinforcing layer 14 formed by an elastic material different from that of the body layer 12 is provided. The part is constituted of two layers of the body layer 12 and the reinforcing layer 14. The elastic material for forming the body layer 12 is made of butyl based rubber.
