PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer which miniaturizes its devices. SOLUTION: Line inkjet heads 17 and 57 are divided in a sheet width direction, and parts of them are arranged overlapped with each other in a feeding direction of the sheet. Consequently, comparing with a case where a single inkjet which is large enough to cover a whole length of the sheet width direction is manufactured, a yield in a manufacturing process is improved to reduce the manufacturing cost. A cap unit 30 is arranged on a side of a feeding unit 13. Respective cap parts provided on a top surface of the cap unit 30 are arranged parallel to the feeding direction of the sheet. Then, the inkjet heads 17 and 57 are arranged above the cap unit 30 in parallel. Consequently, enlargement of the inkjet printer not only in the sheet feeding direction, and also in a sheet width direction are prevented, so that an increase in the devices in size can be prevented.
