<p>A bar code reader incorporating a measuring means, e.g. a temperature sensor, and reading out bar code data easily while measuring/judging an object simultaneously. The bar code reader integrating a sensor comprises a means for reading out a bar code attached to an article, or the like, a means for measuring the temperature, or the like, of an object being measured, e.g. an article, and a means for storing or transferring information on the temperature, or the like, obtained by the measuring means in association with information obtained by the bar code reading means. The bar code reading means reads out the bar code utilizing temperature correction data included in the bar code and triggers measurement thus making it possible to measure the accurate temperature, or the like, of various articles of commerce.</p> |
