PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus for changing the bus size, when an abnormality occurs in data transfer on a bus to execute retransmission of data. SOLUTION: Supposing that an abnormality occurs in a bit AD[1], in transferring data from a unit 80 to a unit 90 in this information processor 10, a bus size controller 12 receives the notification of the abnormal bit from the unit 80, and decides on a bus size with the abnormal bit avoided, for example, a bus AD[7:4], and transmits a control signal to change the bus size, from a bus AD[7:0] to the bus AD[7:4] to a bus controller 11.
