<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation knob of a key cylinder superior in an outward appearance. <P>SOLUTION: This operation knob is composed of a base 20 having a key hole 22 communicating with a key inserting hole 6a of a cylinder inner 6, a cap 30 detachably installed on the base 20 so as to close the key hole 22, and a connecting member 40 for connecting the cap 30 to the base 20. The connecting member 40 is curvedly formed inward out of an elastic material. A projecting button part 42, and an engaging part 44 for releasing its engagement by deformation to the inside of the connecting member 40 by engaging with the base 20, are respectively arranged in opposed leg parts 41 of the connecting member 40.
