PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a false twister which can facilitate a work for removing a yarn-winding trouble occurred on the second feed roller and can prevent the deterioration in the quality of the yarn fed into the secondary heater. SOLUTION: This false twister comprising the first feed roller 4, the primary heater 5, a cooling plate 6, a nip twister 7, the second feed roller 11, and the secondary heater 15 which are sequentially disposed along a yarn route surrounding the passage 20 of a worker, wherein the secondary heater 15 is disposed in a standing state, and further winders 18 disposed on the passage 20 side of the second heater 15 is characterized by forming the first feed roller 4 and the second feed roller 11 in such structures as nipping and feeding the yarn Y and further disposing an assist roller 12 positively rotated to impart a force to the yarn Y in the feeding direction by a frictional action between the assist roller 12 and the yarn Y, between the second feed roller 11 and the secondary heater 15.
