PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spinner means capable of eliminating air accumulation between a breaker and a tread, enhancing adhesion between them, and eliminating a defective product. SOLUTION: The spinner means has a metallic disk-like spinner 4 which advances and retreats so that it contacts the tread 2 when the tread 2 having the maximum width of 4 to 12 mm is plastered on the breaker 3 wound around a shaping drum 1. The width dimension of the spinner 4 is set at 8 to 15 mm, and the outer diameter of the spinner 4 is set at 70 to 100 mm. A plurality of circumferential grooves and a plurality of lateral grooves are formed on the outer circumferential surface of the spinner 4, the total width dimension of the circumferential grooves is set at 30 to 50% of the width dimension of the spinner 4, and the total width dimension of the lateral grooves is set at 10 to 20% of the outer circumferential length of the spinner 4.
