PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the transport cost of the cut bark of wood by efficiently cutting the bark of wood while reducing the occurrence of dust and further cutting the cut bark of wood while compressing the same. SOLUTION: This press-cutting apparatus is equipped with a screw conveyor 4 and a cutter 5. The screw conveyor 4 is constituted so that a rotary shaft 2 having a spiral fin 1 is arranged in a transfer cylinder 3 and the bark 6 of wood supplied to the transfer cylinder 3 is transferred by the rotary shaft 2 while pressed in the transfer cylinder 3. The cutter 5 is constituted so as to finely cut the bark 6 of wood in a compressed state extruded from the transfer cylinder 3 of the screw conveyor 4. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
