<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the actual power usage of a consumer close to a scheduled power usage. <P>SOLUTION: The electric energy actually used by each consumer 20 is measured by a power meter 22, and transmitted to a demand management server 11 through a communication line 32. Information on the scheduled power usage is also transmitted from an information terminal 21 to the demand management server 11 through the communication line 32.
