PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photograph vending machine which has a simple structure and has wide variations for the background. SOLUTION: The photograph vending machine has a background curtain 42, which is disposed behind a user as a subject and on which figures, pictures, visual qualities, patterns, etc., are shown without discontinuity in two or more colors and gradations. The background curtain 42 is supported so as to be moved lengthwise or widthwise. To take photographs, a user moves the background curtain 42 lengthwise or widthwise to an arbitrary position so that the pattern or colors the user requests are displayed within the photographic range.
