<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing device which enables the futility of material in the front- and rear end sections to be eliminated and a plurality of labels to be produced by the method for more easily using, for printing on a flat and tubular heat-shrinking medium. <P>SOLUTION: For the tape printing device provided with a cassette, the cassette is equipped with a tape to be printed with a certain length, a first portion having a guide member for guiding the above tape, a second portion composed so that the above tape may be made like a bellow-shape and stored along a longitudinal direction and an intermediate neck section making the connection between the above first portion to the second portion while making the tape, which moves from the second portion to the first portion through the neck section, where the neck section is bent against the longitudinal direction of the second portion. The above tape printing device is provided with a cassette holding section which holds the above cassette. The above cassette holding section holds the first portion of the above cassette.
