EXPRESSION VECTOR FOR ALLERGEN PROTEIN AND TRANSFORMANT PLANT, AND USE OF THE PLANT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expression vector capable of efficiently expressing an allergen protein in a leguminous plant, to provide a method for producing a transformant plant transduced with the expression vector, to provide the resulting transformant plant, and to provide uses of the plant.

SOLUTION: The allergen protein can be produced/accumulated in a leguminous plant by transducing the expression vector into e.g. a Lotus japonicus plant. By oral administration of the leguminous plant, the plant can be used in the oral hyposensitization therapy for allergic diseases. One example of the allergen protein is DerfI protein derived from Dermatophagoides farinae.
