ULTRASONIC VEIN DETECTOR AND DETECTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic (US) vein detector and a detection method to detect the location of a vein by US waves.

SOLUTION: The US vein detector to detect the position of a vein at a specific location of a patient includes a US emitter with a vibrator to transmit pulse US signals toward the specific location of the patient, a pulse presser to apply pulse pressure signals with a frequency discriminated from a cardiac rate of the patient, a US sensor to sense reflection waves of directive pulse US signals reflected by the whole of reflecting points of the specific location of the patient and convert them to electric signals and output them, and a microprocessor to receive electric signals from the US sensor to confirm positions of the reflecting points corresponding to pulse pressure signals.
