PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state imaging apparatus with an A/D converter for using serial output data to easily discriminate delimiters among the data. SOLUTION: The solid-state imaging apparatus including: an area image sensor 11 having a plurality of pixels; the A/D converter 17 for converting an analog signal outputted from each pixel of the area image sensor into digital data and outputting data outputted from each pixel after A/D conversion as serial data, includes an identification pulse generating circuit means 18 for generating and outputting an identification pulse to identify a one-data period of the serial data.
