PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing plate stock device capable of reducing the cost and saving the energy by making the installation space compact in the conveyor discharge direction of the stock device. SOLUTION: The printing plate stock device is equipped with a receiving member 12 furnished in the upper part with a receptacle surface 121 curved convex facing down aslant so as to receive a printing plate from below discharged approximately horizontally with its printing surface facing up in the downstream of a conveyor X to transport printing plates P and in the lower part with a guide surface 122 curved convex facing down continuously from the receptacle surface and a stacking member 13 having a confronting surface 131 confronting at a certain spacing the guide surface of the receiving member so as to allow the leading edge of the printing plate discharged from the conveyor to abut and furnished at the bottom of the confronting surface with a stacking part 132 to stack the printing plates with the leading edges abutting to the confronting surface in such a condition as leaning to the confronting surface while the plates are positioned alongside the guide surface by their own weight.
