<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas unit capable of effectively utilizing wind force energy of exhaust air in air conditioning facilities in a building, a factory or the like and recovering it as electric power. <P>SOLUTION: This exhaust gas unit is provided with a casing 1 communicating with an exhaust gas duct 4, a blower 2 arranged in the casing 1, and a wind power generator 3 having a vertical shaft wind mill 6 and a generator 7. The vertical shaft wind mill 6 is provided with a rotary shaft 8 and a plurality of linear vane-like blades 11 arranged in parallel at an equal angle interval for the rotary shaft 8.
