PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid chromatograph mass spectrometer which can be used for a long time when a variety of a buffer solution including salts is used as a mobile phase. SOLUTION: A cleaning fluid is fed from a pump 4 to a mass analysis part 20 during analysis through a switching valve 1 which is provided on the halfway part of a path from a liquid chromatograph part 10 to the mass analysis part 20 to wash an interface part 30. When a sample component peak to be analyzed is detected by a detector 14 of the liquid chromatograph part 10, a control means 6 switches the switching valve 1 to feed the eluate including the sample component from the liquid chromatograph part 10 to the mass analysis part 20.
