<p>The invention relates to a mobile scaffolding (1) having vertical ladders (2, 3). The lower extremities (4) of the ladders are fitted with wheels (6, 7). At least one wheel (6) is a drive wheel. Two wheels (7) are steering wheels. Each steering wheel is connected to an orientation rod (14) that orientates and maintains a desired orientation of the steering wheel. The steering wheels can be oriented in rolling directions that are oblique to one another in order to block a mobility of the scaffolding.
