<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide view selection information or other additional information wherein the preference of a user is actualized on the basis of a view history of the user. <P>SOLUTION: A server searches contents which are viewed or the like from a content information database on the basis of the view history summed up from a certain user, further extracts a contents table relating to the contents of viewing or the like, and sums up an appearance frequency by categories, by performers or by keywords.
