<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain a temperature difference generated in a fuel cell stack. <P>SOLUTION: The temperature difference between air and fuel is measured in the entrance of the fuel cell stack to carry out feedback control so as to reduce the temperature difference. The rate of variation of the target temperature for performing the temperature control of the air and the fuel is restrained by the feedback control when the temperature difference is increased.
