<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus or the like which can prevent the trouble such that a recording paper bundle is separately outputted to trays of different output destinations in an irregular page sequence state although it is a job of the same group at the time of image formation of the job in which paper sizes and medium types are mixed. <P>SOLUTION: In the case where a special paper which can be discharged to only a specific tray 601 is to be outputted, when it can be judged before the output start that the special paper is included, all papers of the job are outputted to the specific tray 601 without being outputted to an instructed tray. When it is judged that it is the special paper at an output stage although the presence of the special paper cannot be judged beforehand, all the subsequent papers are outputted to the specific tray 601 without being outputted to the instructed tray.
