<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new pharmaceutical preparation or new processed food containing as the active ingredient a newly discovered material enabling dry eye to be cured or ameliorated without declining in the quality of life. <P>SOLUTION: Lactoferrin has the effect of curing or ameliorating dry eye.
