PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for confirming the behavior of molten metal stream at the casting time with which the behavior of the molten metal stream at the casting time can directly be confirmed. SOLUTION: The molten metal stream is pictured with a heat-resistant treated C-MOS camera 11 arranged above a heat-resistant glass 10a fixed to the upper side opening hole surface of a through-hole 9 formed in a sand core 5, and indicated by making to the image with a personal computer 12 based on an image signal outputted from the C-MOS camera 11. In this way, the behavior of the molten metal stream on the heat-resistant glasses 10a, 10b fixed to both opening hole surfaces of the through-hole 9 formed in the sand core 5 by the image indicated with the personal computer 12 can directly be confirmed.
