The invention relates to a hydraulic control device which is used to open the intake and exhaust valves of an internal combustion engine. The inventive device is of the type that comprises a hydraulic piston pump, in which each piston or master piston (1, 2, 3, 4, etc.) is connected to the valve (41, 42, 43, 44, etc.) actuator (21, 22, 23, 24, etc.) of a cylinder (A), such as to open the valve, said valve being closed by the valve return spring. According to the invention, the hydraulic pump (P) comprises means which are used to communicate the pumped fluid with the hydraulic fluid tank with each cycle, thereby ensuring the volume and temperature stability of the fluid operating the actuators (21, 22, 23, 24, etc.). |
