PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording device that accurately measures the quantity of remaining ink. SOLUTION: The inkjet recording device can sense the quantity of remaining ink in a relatively short time by arranging a heater in close contact with an ink in an ink tank, applying heating a pulse to the heater and monitoring a temperature increase in the heater itself.
