The switchgear system (3) has a fixing strip (4) connected to a door panel (1) and a switch strip (5) designed as a pressure-sensitive switch and guide displaceable through a guide assembly (6) relative to the fixing strip between a position remote from the fixing strip and a position close to same. The fixing strip and switch strip are mounted parallel to each other. For a vertically adjustable door the switchgear system is mounted horizontally along the lower edge of the door with the switch strip below the fixing strip.
