<p>A strapping machine (10) for positioning a strapping material (S) around an associated load (L) and sealing the strapping material (S) to itself around the load (L) includes a frame (12), a chute (16) for conveying the strapping material (S) around the load (L), a feed assembly (26,28) for feeding the strapping material (S), a guide (58) configured to transfer the strapping material (S) from the feed assembly (26,28), and a strapping head (20). The machine includes a feed guide (116) including a cover (114) for covering at least a portion of the feed assembly (26,28). The feed guide (116) has a fixed portion and a removable cover portion (114).
