<p>A narrow opening between the edges of a pair of doctor blades controls the flow of ink from the ink chamber (1) onto the printing roller. The doctor blades are thin straight foils held between fixed doctor blade beams (4,5) and movable doctor blade beams. The ends of the beams engage end fittings (2) with guide slits (11) to allow adjustment. There are holders (12,14) with safety pegs (13).</p> |
